Our Facility

Eight rooms. Eight clinical intentions.

Every space at The C.A.R.E. Project was designed with a specific therapeutic modality in mind. This is not a waiting room with craft supplies. These are purpose-built clinical environments — each calibrated for the neuroscience of what happens inside them.

Purpose-Built Spaces

Every room has a clinical intention.

THE CALM DOWN COVE

The Calm Down Cove

Somatic & Vibrational Regulation

A sensory-calibrated space designed for nervous system regulation. Weighted equipment, low lighting options, and vibrational tools create the conditions for the parasympathetic shift — moving a dysregulated child from fight-or-flight to rest and process.

ENCHANTED ARTS & FRIENDSHIP ROOM

Enchanted Arts & Friendship Room

Expressive Arts Therapy

A fully equipped expressive arts studio with structured access to visual media, mixed materials, and drawing surfaces. Clinicians use this space to facilitate art-as-language — non-verbal emotional processing through structured creative direction.

GENTLE JUNGLE

Gentle Jungle

Expressive Arts · Sensory Integration

A multi-sensory environment blending natural elements, tactile surfaces, and soft lighting. Used for both expressive arts sessions and sensory integration work — the environment itself is the therapeutic stimulus.

THE MOTORSKILLS STUDIO

The Motorskills Studio

Sensorimotor & Movement Therapy

An open movement space designed for structured physical therapeutic activities. Motor skill challenges, coordination sequences, and body-based regulation exercises are delivered here by licensed clinicians trained in sensorimotor approaches.

SENSORY & REGULATION STATION

Sensory & Regulation Station

Sensory Integration Therapy

Purpose-built for sensory processing work. Weighted tools, proprioceptive equipment, controlled auditory and visual stimuli, and tactile surfaces give clinicians precise control over the sensory environment — essential for calibrated sensory integration sessions.

THE DISCOVER DEN

The Discover Den

Group-Based Interpersonal Therapy

A structured group therapy space configured for small-group clinical work at 1:3 and 2:6 ratios. Seating, sightlines, and spatial arrangement are intentional — the room is designed to facilitate the group dynamics that are the therapeutic tool.

THE CIRCLE

The Circle

Group-Based Interpersonal Therapy

A second group therapy space for concurrent group sessions or larger clinician-facilitated gatherings. The circular configuration removes hierarchy — every participant is equidistant from the center, supporting the peer-level therapeutic dynamic.
